Hi guys,

I'm new to the rx7 and new to the forum. I picked up an rx7 for $650 about 2 weeks ago. The wife wasn't too happy at the time because it wasn't running but it's up and running pretty much great right now. It's top is torn all to heck and it's got a little bit of a rough start but overall I'm happy besides the fact that it's a automatic.... It's still a blast to drive though. Here're some pics...

I've got a few questions though....
First the oil pressure fluctuates when I'm driving to when I'm at an idle.... is that normal???
Here's pics of it....

and there's a tube coming down from what looks to be the gas tank... What is this?
Here's a pic

lastly I just bought this thing and it didn't take anything at all to getting it running... it has 125,000 miles on it.... what needs to be done maintenance wise to make sure this beauty stays reliable???

*** Admin bump *** Sorry for the delay, let's see if any 2ndgen guru's are prowling the halls tonight who can help. I'm a 1stgen guy, so maintenance issues with the FC's isn't something I can speak to.

That tube is attached to the Drain bag that is Ripped on your driver's side Convertable Roof.
The drain bag is supposed to sit on side just between trim with those nuts on it and the lower fabric itself.
It is used to collect any rain and disperse it from the Trim so it doesn't rust the Car all to hell.(ya,right..haha!).the rain goes into the bag and goes out the bottom of the car through that tube near the rear subframe.(there is one on each side of the car By the way).
.....
Fluctuating oil pressure is Normal..about 30 at idle and up to about 60-70 at Higher Revs
