CA New intake

Sorry for reviving an otherwise old thread, but I heard that if i install new intake, downpipe and exhaust, I would have to get an aftermarket ecu or remap the ecu. Is this true?

On a 3rd gen (like your profile says, right?), intake and exhaust changes can change air/fuel mixtures. Some form of tuning will be needed.

Yea, thanks for digging into my profile to help. What would be best? a remap or a new ecu? The power FC is much much pricey, so I probably won't mod any intake or exhaust anytime soon

I'm not a 3rd gen owner myself, but I'd start by searching through the 3rd gen tech section, as well as the engine management forum.

The factory fuel system and ECU has enough fuel for 10 PSI. So long as you keep your boost at 10 PSI you should be good.
