Sounds very much like the BAC needs proper attention as its job is to keep the idle at 750 rpm under conditions of load.

The 88 FSM wiring diagram shows the BAC voltage wire as being Black/White with the other wire being Blue/Green.

can anyone post a pic of what order the color wires go into the heat/
AC controller. i need heat and there are no wires to splice on the controller circuit. and i need heat. its been 40 and below here and not too fun to drive. i looked on the FSM but it doesnt say the wire color order they go in.

oh yeah and also the BAC wasnt working im gonna take it off soon and try to clean it out and see if i can fix it. looked how much they would go for and it was in the $500-600 range. and i cant afford that right now XD

can anyone point me to a picture of the order the heat/AC controller wires go into the logicon computer chip? or tell me what order they are in. i cant use my heat because there are no wires coming out of the chip to splice to the harness and i dont have one to compare to. its starting to get 25 and below down here and i need heat bad

i put i new BAC valve on it and and it still acts the same......... how would it act if the harness was bad cause it think the alt. was grounded on the strut before and i think that could cause the wiring harness to go bad. (my friends car did that once)
