UT New guy to RX-7, Help a guy out?

Hey guys, It's nice to finally find a place that might offer some answers,

I'm new to RX-7's and have been wanting to buy one for a few years now, I've done a little bit of research, and have found out a little about the car it's self, My cousin bought one a while back and I instantly fell in love with it. I've been looking all over the place to buy a Gen. 3 FD RX-7 but can't seem to find one that isn't completely decked out. Everywhere i look seems to have completely finished Beauties. I'm trying to buy stock, but can't seem to find one anywhere, so i was thinkin about maybe finding a Wrecked or salvaged one. Does anyone know a good place to find these? That way i'd have plenty of time to dig in and get to know what I drive before it happens. I need to get out of this POS Neon i've been driving anyway.

Thanks for all your help an imput. i hope to hear somethin soon!

Keep looking until you find the right one. The classifieds are a good source, as is craiglist, autotrader, and local classifieds. Ebay is also useful if you stick to cars you can visit in person before bidding on them.

JDM won't work because they can't be legally registered in the US. Canada yes, USA no. People have managed to get papers and drive them around here, but they aren't legal.

That's why I'm glad I live in 'Bama...no inspection or emissions testing required. I'm sure that it won't be this way forever....I'm actually surprised that they haven't tried to impose emissions testing on us so far. oh well, I will enjoy it while I can.
