New guy and a rim question.
Hey all, been a lurker on here for a while. Just got a 1988 RX-7 GXL with a '86 Turbo swap from my cousin's buddy. Its got a few issues that need to be worked out but thats all part of the fun, right?
Anyways, I can get a good deal for 4 almost new tires on Mazda6 rims. Theyre 5x114 bolt pattern which should fit as far as I know but im just worried about the offset. I believe the Mazda6 rims have +60 offset while stock FC rims are +40? Will this be an issues? Will I need spacers? I dont know jack about offset.

TireRack.com has all kinds of technical information on offset, rim width, etc. Check out one article at the link below. In order to calculate whether or not the wheels will work, you need to know the rim size, tire width and so on.

Well, the rims are 17x7 with +60 offset and 245/45 tires.
Even after reading that article im still confused. Would they stick out past the fender or be tucked in too far?
