CA new fd owner in So Cal.Single turbo conversion question.

hi my name is Tony and I have been into mazda's forever. Ive always had a miata and finally got a hold of an FD.

what is a good size single turbo upgrade for daily use with little to no lag. I am not looking for big hp numbers and how much psi could a stock 13bt rew handle until I have to step up the management?

Thanks in advance for any help.

id probably say a gt35 would do the trick, but im not sure, i would say that going from twins to single, you are inherently going to have more lag, thats why they used 2 stock...

it all depends on the tuning.if you dont mind me asking.how many miles do you have in your fd?check your engine's health first, compression check and go from there. dont just go single turbo and throw in bunch of mods and next thing you know motor wont last a week.
