new fc3s a/c question

I found an 86 fc3s N/A that has pretty much everything im looking for in a fc except for the fact that the a/c has been taken out. I would make this car my daily so it would be nice if i can retro fit an a/c into it. Is there any advice on how i would be able to get this done?

Are you sure it had A/C to begin with? Only the '86 GXL had A/C standard. For base/sport/luxury models, it was optional.

If it was just removed, putting it back should be pretty simple. You can try the classified section, since a lot of people take it out and would be willing to sell the setup.

If it never had A/C, it could be a little more difficult, but all the mounting locations should be there still.

Probably can find it from Indyparts or one of the otehr guys that part out cars, or from some drifter that doesn't have a clue.

Both probably have it all for pretty cheap... maybe $200-$300.

labor would be waaaaaaay expensive. Parts relatively cheap.

Best way would be to pull it off at a junkyard and put it all back on your car like you saw it. Take some pictures and it will help with re-assembly.
