What is the best way to go for exhaust on a non-ported gsl-se? Headers or downpipe? High flow cat or not? what muffler will Last and not be too expensive/ too loud? Thanks..

 

About your only option for a bolt on performance exhaust system is going to be from Racing Beat. They are not cheap, but they last forever.

Your other option is to have something custom made. This can usually be done more cheaply than the RB system, but you have to know what you want to use for materials. There have been some pretty good threads on this by members in the first gen section, so I would recommend searching there for information if you want to consider going that route.
