new clutch not disengaging/engaging

over the summer i got a new clutch installed. noticed right away that the clutch felt really shallow, so i bled the clutch a bit and it started to feel more normal. however it has been grinding while shifting, mostly downshifting but upshifting too. then the clutch went shallow again and so i decided to try bleeding it again and it didn't work. now the clutch doesn't disengage at all and it's parked in front of my house. any ideas why this would happen with a new clutch so recently installed?

Sounds like your clutch hydraulics have failed.

Is the fluid in the Clutch master low?

Pull back the rubber boot on the clutch slave and see if their is fluid there. Also look under the dash where the clutch master bolts and see if there is fluid there.

Best thing to do is replace both Clutch Master and slave together.

it's more likely to be a hydraulic issue. based on your original post, it probably always was.
