CA New Buyers Guide?

So I'm hoping to get my hands on a 10th AE. It's all original except a cat back exhaust. What are some things that I should be looking for when testing it out? This will be my first rotary. I know the FCs had some electrical issues, but also I heard they were usually an easy fix.

when buying any used cars, as soon as I start it, i put my hand by the exhaust pipe and see if its warm. If its warm, that means they played with it before you got there. If cold, they are probably pretty confident in the car. I had an old mechanic tell me that. kind of weird but it hasn't failed me yet.

Hm, that is a very clever idea. I will remember that.

Just feel the engine block. Unless it is cold to the touch, the car has ran in the last 4 hours.
