in need of help with my 750 holley setup
i have a fb with a 6port bridgeport with ported intake manifold that im rebuilding. question is: what type of set up (spark,air/fuel)do i need for this motor to work properly

I would suggest putting some hard thought into ditching the carburetor and going to fuel injection. High overlap ports like bridgeports create uneven exhaust pulses and low vacuum. You'll never get the carb tuned quite right. It's either going to run great at wide open and poorly everywhere else, or OK at low load and then lack power at wide open. EFI gives you the ability to create a map to suit the widely varying fuel requirements of a bridgeport throughout the powerband.
If you MUST stick with the carb for whatever reason, I'd suggest mving to a 2 throat Weber style, 50MM or larger. It's going to be far easier to tune than the 4 barrel becaue of the above mentioned intake pulses.
The dizzy is going to limit you as well because you can only make a general timing curve. Bridgeports like about 10 - 15 degrees at idle, then timing brought quickly up to about 30 degrees by about 2500 RPM.
