hey im sean and im a new owner and a first time owner my mazda rx7 1979 is my first car!!! i am hopin to rebuild this baby but i want it running first so i have a ?? my clutch has no tension wen i press it down my dad says somethuing about a secondary slave but i cant seem to find a part named that in the chiltons manuel so plz send me some messages i could really use the help!

 

It could be the master cylinder, slave cylinder, or most likely, both.

Master is on the firewall near the corner of the engine bay beside the brake booster. The slave cylinder is mounted to the top driver side of the transmission bellhousing. Replace both, as well as the flex line from the firewall to the slave.
