ok my friend has a 1994 mazda twin turbo and he wants to trade my bike for it which is cool and all but i test drivin the car for a week or so prob not that long he said to take it to a shop and see whats wrong with it but i think ill ask yall. when i stomp it it will fall on its face it builds 12lbs of boost then falls on its face and it use to be quick all the way to 2nd would break the tires loose now nothing it bogs i replaced lines cause it was buildin 4psi dumpin boost now its hittin 12 but not going no where just wantin to. i think its a good trade just want this thing to be runnin good before i confirm it it has 50k miles on it and i think 1 of the turbos might be bad but not sure can anyone help me out?
Fairly new to the rotary experience myself but it sounds like you're putting out to much boost. Maybe try and dial it down a bit and see if that does any good. You could always take it to a tune shop and make sure its tuned up to its full potential. However, that's just my opinion and can get a little pricey. I'm taking my down to get it dyno-tuned in just over a week which is gonna cost $75 for 3 pulls up to $850 for the entire day. So we'll see. I guess it just depends on what bike you're trading for the car. If the body is clean and in good shape that's worth about 5K alone. You can always part it out and sell everything on here or e-bay and make a good amount just sucks shipping everything. Anyways good luck man
