FL need help

hi everyone first let me introduce myself. my name is philip Ginter. I am a memeber of the United States Air Force stationed in Florida.

Now for my ? i need help with. I just bought an RX7 off of someone i am stationed with. I knew it has some issues. needs major body work, and the alternator was shot. The alternator i thought might be what was killing the battery, however, after i replaced the alternator and the battery, i came out the next morning it started up fine. The next day i came out to start it up and the battery was dead. first thought was maybe i left the lights on, so i jumped it. it started up and ran fine until i shut it down and started doing some of the body work for it. went to start it back up 5 min later and it was dead. i have no idea what the issue could be.

Seems like an electrical device (e.g. radio) still draws current although the car is switched off.
