Question need different FMIC?!

when i bought my 1993 FD it had the stock twins and had a few mods including power fc, and greddy FMIC. i know that greddy sells two types for the fd one for the twins and one for a single set up. my question is if i want to go single will i need a different FMIC? or will the core in my current one be strong enough to with stand higher PSI?

With a single turbo, you will probably be running the same or less boost to make the same amount of power (or more). So you don't need to worry about the "PSI value". I am not familiar with Greddy's options for the FD but I would suspect that the only difference between the two is that one comes with a Y pipe and one does not.

You won't NEED a different IC. I don't think you will notice much of a difference if you were to switch. Probably not a $1,800 difference.

Check for details on Greddy's web site if you really want to learn the differences.
