N/A FC exhaust system options?

Hi guys.
I'm new to the forum and rx7's. I'm trying to get my rx7 to a state where i'm happy to drive it without the feeling that its going to break down
My exhaust system has seen better days and want to replace it before i get a hole in it or it snaps.
I want something that is fully stainless but every time i search it just comes up with exhaust for the turbo 2.
So i've got a few questions. Will a turbo exhaust fit and N/A?
If so am i better getting it from catback? as from what i've read the decats can cause damage to the engine.
Also what is the best diameter to go for on the N/A?

be aware here that IF you "de-cat" the engine your Auxiliary ports will not open. Which means, at higher rpms you lose power. There is a tube that comes off that Catalytic converter that feeds some back pressure to these ports.

Best bang for your Buck is a Racing beat system. period. Good resale value, Fantastic sound, good power. But they are spendy.

Get your post count up in the "new members area" forum above this and use the simple threads to increase posts. This will get you access to the classified section. People sell exhaust all the time relatively inexpensive.

Cheers

A turbo Exhaust can be used but you will need to fab in between the cat and the Y pipe.

Besides the fitment problem, a turbo exhaust will be a little too large, which will decrease performance when used with a NA engine. Additionally, turbine wheels reduce exhaust noise, so turbo mufflers tend to be designed for more flow and less noise reduction than their non-turbo counterparts. Therefore, while a turbo exhaust can be fitted with minimal modification, the result will be a little less power and gas mileage, and more noise.

Decatting will not harm the engine, but the car will fail emissions tests and environmental visual inspections, and there is also the aux port problem as already stated.

The race exhaust tech tips in this link will give you a good idea of optimal sizing:

Racing Beat and Apexi make catback exhausts for the NA RX-7 FC.

Thanks for all the info guys, i had found a 2.5" turbo exhaust which i didn't think was too big but from doing a bit of a search it seems like the racing beat is the best option for the NA.
I can't quite get by head around all the options as we use different words for everything here in the UK but i should be able to figure it out

You can't really go wrong with the racing beat exhaust system. They have a couple of options on their website for keeping your cat, or going catless, etc.

FYI I tried to fake a long primary dual / single outlet with only a RB pre silencer and dynomax muffler
I should have spent the extra for the RB muffler cuz that ish makes my coma act up its so loud

Makes my brain dub step to the brap brap
And I have trouble with my inner ear and lose balance and fail DUI field tests

Soooo pretty much get RB or go to jail
