Mounting pro rear diffuser without mounting kit

As the title suggest, I bought a rear diffuser for my 93 fd from an individual and didn't get the mounting kit. He claimed to have bought it from shine auto and he lost the mounting gear. Didn't think much of it at the time. fast forward to now where I'd like to mount it and i get in contact with shine about buying the kit. No luck. Can't be done since they can't find a record of him buying it from them. Ok cool no big deal I understand that. That all said is there anyone out there that has done this without the mounting hardware. The diffuser is the pro rear style off that site. Im fairly certain I can make the mounts that go back by the gas tank fairly easily due to them being straight metal pieces. And I plan bolting the front visible side straight to the bumper. I've seen this done by looking at pictures of others with this type of diffuser. My issue is how to go about the sides. From the pictures it seems it bolts to the bumper on a curve. That's going to be tricky. Any suggestions on how to go about that? Or is it even necessary could I just let them hang there without worry it would droop down and get damaged. Also this is my first thread. I did search this topic but couldn't find anything. Guess I'll learn to buy parts more carefully next time to avoid this issue. Thanks in advance.

I need to make these

Again just to illustrate. I plan on making my own mounts for the gas tank area and plan on copying these bolts here for the visible side. Would these be enough to hold it on or would i definitely need to secure the sides as well. Pic is just a generic google search image. Not my car.
