I am in the process of building a bridgeport 12A and was doing some shopping from Racing Beat and came across a engine service they offer called exhaust air injection plugging. after market intake and exhaust are going to be used and I wanted to know if this modification was needed. Engine is 81+ 12A.

 

Ok, I searched and found what you're talking about. Honestly I have never heard about people doing this, but I think with an aftermarket exhaust and intake you wouldn't need this.

Just curious, what exactly are your plans and shopping list for the build?

 

its only needed if you're using 1980 and older rotor housings.
