Mecum Auctions

I'm considering placing my car in the next Mercum Auction.

Has anyone had any experience with Mercum?

Thanks for the assistance!

I've never even heard of it and I watch a lot of Speed Channel TV and have been reading AutoWeek and Car and Driver for two decades now.

I googled them. They look like they are a midwest centered auction company (though they are visiting Cali in August). They advertise coverage on the Discovery Network. Maybe Discovery is trying to get a competitor show going to go against SpeedTV's Barrett Jackson?

Beyond what I just learned, I don't know anything else.

Mecum is on HD Theater on a regular basis. They seem to be the vehicle auction company for the "average" guy/girl. Generally dealing more with affordable vehicles versus the high-dollar cars seen on B-J.
