Mazda RX7 1994

I have a 1994 Mazda RX7 and I am trying to remove the radio and CD player. I have purchased two sets of Din tools and have inserted them and the stereo will not come out.
Is there some way to get behind it and push it out? I push the tools to the side and try to pull them out but its not coming out.

pushing from behind wont get it out. there are tabs that hold the assembly in the din. they need to be bent flat so it comes out. you can pull harder but then risk breaking something. just take your time and look for the tabs by feeling for them with the tool and try and flatten them.

you also posted this in the wrong section

With the tools inserted try pushing in on the face of the radio, then spread the tools...then pull. They can fight you a little, especially if they've never been out.

Also, it helps if you're a little more specific about the topic in the thread title
