Mazda RX-7 For a second car
hey guys im new here. i have a question regarding the FB series rx7s. im looking to buy one for a second car. but im unsure about the performance, or if its even worth getting one for a second car. What are they like to drive handling/general driving? Do they pull/go fast fairly well? So guys if you could mabie put a few pros and cons of having a FB series RX7 as well it would be useful.

Stock, not so much, but still fun to drive for their quick handling.
But if you are willing to perform some modifications, they can be extremely quick and fun cars. Once you allow the motor to breathe properly (free flowing exhaust) and add a few improved suspension components, they can be an absolute blast to drive.
Here's a video from a race a couple of weeks ago (my mods are listed in my signature line). The first three clips are my car. The white 1st gen has not been modded much, so that will give you an idea of what a properly running "stock" fb can do. Hope this helps with your decision.

cheers and thanks for the tips guys.. will have to take one for a test drive i think. One other question though, just a stock FB series 12A engine, whats average fuel consumption if driven normally and driven hard? What would power gains be like if it was to be street ported or bridge ported?
