Mazda Rx-7 Help!

hey guys,

Okay, i just bought a 92 Mazda Rx-7 twin turbo, and im not to sure about some things since im really new to this type of a car and its rotary engine. I wanted to ask about the maintenance of the car, how should i keep it in well condition mechanically. and i find that when i start the car, alot of smoke seems to be coming out, and the car is shaking, is this normal? or does it require some sort of check up or anything, please guys help me out.

Thanks

Start with the FAQ for FD (3rd gen) sticky at the top of this forum. It contains links to new owner info and maintenance.

The shaking problem could just be a tuneup issue. What colour is the smoke?

Check for a loose MAP sensor line. If that's intact, get a compression check because it probably has a blown motor.

Find the line and see if it is loose.
