"Mazda" on front bumper

Seems like a dumb question...but I can't seem to find an answer...

I'm restoring an 88 vert. The front bumper doesn't have the raised "MAZDA" lettering on it. Is that an s5 thing or was it originally on my s4 but someone sanded it off?

s5 sry but if you wanted to you could swap bumpers but the trim molding would be different
