Maiden Voyage!!

First off, sorry for flooding the message board. Ok so its midnight...and im amped about my car running and such. so i take her our for a midnight cruse. first time she has been on the road for a month or so. everything was peacy but my voltage. stays a bit above 12volts at idle when i turn the headlights on the gauge goes bat ****, turn on the turn signal/blinkers, gauge goes batshit....by bat **** i mean droping to 4-6 volts then spikes back up to 12ish then back to 4-6 ish. it will do that for a second or 2...about 4-5 drops below 8v total then she is fine. Also as befor it is haveing a prolblem staying running when i turn the wheel ALL THE WAY to one side or the other...the engine slowly fades in idle from 750ish. i let it drop down in rpm's a bit befor i hit the peddle to avoid stalling.(tight drivway...)im going to try to clean the BAC valve out on tuseday, another board member listed that as one of the things causing my car to stall out when the wheel is fully turned. would the BAC also cause my car to flux in power or is this a alt thing? and yes i checked tension on the alt and made sure it was hooked up right:P thanks guys!

Test the battery.

Make sure the battery connections and cables are in good shape.

Test the alternator.

ok, so today i fixed the problem. it was really simple. take som really high grit sand paper and and sand BOTH battery terminal's, along with the positive and negitive cables, then hit them with some compressed air to get the sand and grit off, sand untell you see shiny metal, turns out my terminals were just dirty, but you couldnt see the dirt with your eyes, must have had a light film over them or somthing like that, thank you aron:P
