LSD type

Been doing a little research and wanted some clarification to see what type of LSD I have. I have an 88 GTU, and from what I've been reading I think is an s4 (can't tell the difference, I don't have an aluminum hood, you tell me) and that would mean I have a clutch type LSD? Is there anyway to check to see if it's clutch type and not viscous

89+ were vicious, yours is a clutch type, unless its been swapped, chances are slim though

And being you have a GTU, steel hood is correct i believe, the GTUs came with the aluminum hood, along with verts

Merry Christmas

Get your VIN and check with Mazda on the net, you'll probably find it.
