white smoke is a sign of burning coolant.
and premixing has nothing to do with running lean.
Oil and gas are delivered at the same time so you can't be screwing up the ratio on the premix and say it is screwing up the AFR's.
One ounce per gallon is the norm.

MO this is a reprint for white smoker engines

In my quest for a peppy rx7 I have had several white smokers. Its the water seals in the engine...on a 1st gen. it could be the coolant channel through the intake but I've never been that lucky. Back in the day I added a product called alumaseal to the coolant, twice and it did help for a year or so. I have a new one that I am still hopeful for...I was swapping engines anyway so I took my whitesmokers flywheel off, broke loose all the engine bolts in order, then retorqued them in order to the max spec. and I haven't driven it yet as I am having some carb issues but that sucker was at about 3-4K RPMs and I have not seen the white smoke yet...knock on wood.

it could also be a bad oil seal or coolant seal in the turbo.. dose this not smoke when at idle ??

IL

whether it does at all at high rpm or after sitting doesn't matter, its the fact that is does at some point and will not go away at some point. this is strictly from a 12a perspective. but there may be a tweak....knock on wood again.

are you losing coolant? you say you are running premix what ratio??

and since you are premixing , are you running the OMP? do you have oil at the TB ??

are you sure its white ? and not brown or blue?

Take it from me if you DO have a problem witha coolant seal or an oil seal .. PLEASE rebuild it before it becomes catastrophic .

This is exactly what the one I just bought is doing. I'm thinking its the seals as well.
