lossing coolant through resivour when engine heats up
So Ive been trying to figure out this coolant problem Ive been having. if i fill the radiator cap up with a funnel until no more coolant will go into the radiator and there is some coolant still in the funnel. then start the car with the heater on.. eventually the coolant will start to rise in the funnel and air bubbles will start. sometimes when the coolant is almost overflowing in the funnel there will be an extreme gushing and the coolant level will go back into the radiatior.. but the problem seems to lie when the cap is on.. the fluid level will rise and flow into the overflow resivour and fill it up. then when thats full it will start to come out the overflow tube and go onto the ground. and when this happens my low coolant light and buzzer comes on. ive put a new belt, radiator cap, and thermostat in it.. and it still does this.. i still want to try putting new upr. and lwr. radiator hoses and replacing the overflow tube from the cap to the resivour. i just hope it isnt coolant seals .. cause i just bought the car with a loan and dont have the money to rebuilt the engine right now. any advise would be much apreciated.

Sounds like you have excess pressure in your cooling system or major air. Get a cooling system pressure tester from autozone or the likes and test the cooling system for leaks by inspecting all hoses with system pressurized.... I suspect bad engine coolant seals...
