Looking for a good rotary mechanic
The facts:
1989 RX-7 Convertible
Was running great...
All of a sudden very sluggish, no power, won't stay started if gas not pushed.
Dealership (1st Mistake) told me the engine was blown #2 rotor
Other guy (2nd Mistake) says not blown but he can't fix. doesn't know enought about rotary engines
I am looking for someone who can either look at my car and fix it or tell me what I need to do to fix it.
I am in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area
Thank you

BTW, the mistakes were my fault. I should have never taken the car to the dealership, I know the reputation of the dealership already. And as for the other guy, he was helping me out and I appreciate him looking at my ride. I didn't mean to slight him if that is the way it sounded.
Ok, newbie here; so I apologize in advance. After searching and finding nothing, I didn't know where to post. And please don't blow me up for asking what might be a crazy question, so here it is...
What about a MX-3 v6 in a 1st gen? I know it's a FWD car, but honestly love the idea of a tiny v6 in the RX7! Is this too far-fetched? Yep, second choice is a Miata engine since it's obviously been done many times. My first venture into a fun weekend car! THANKS
