A little mishap the other day

I was doing a short spirited run on some back roads not too far from home, when suddenly I saw my "Add Coolant" light turned on. Shortly Afterwards, my water temp began to rise. It went up to 220 and I had to pull over.
When I popped the hood, I saw coolant steam coming from behind the engine block. I'm not sure yet what has caused it. I hope the engine block isn't leaking. I hope it's an easy fix.
What do you guys think?

bet ya it is the hose that goes from the heater core to the engine.

This is most likely your culprit. Check the hose that comes out of the firewall to the drivers side of the engine block.

If you still have the throttle-body coolant line in place it connects at the passenger side of the rear iron.

Yup, it was a cracked hose. I just simply took it off and replaced it with a new one.

Glad it was an easy fix. This hose is common to fail on FC's as it gets swollen and soft from oil that spills onto it from oil changes. It's one of the first things I always changed on any FC I bought. Just wanted to throw that out there for any other new person that may have the same problem as you.

Yes, Definitely. I'm currently working on that. I'm getting the silicone radiator hoses first. then everything else that follows.
However, I simply bought the OEM hose (about 20 bucks) that I needed because I wanted a quick fix.
Silicon hoses for the future.
