Lack of engine oil loss??

Hi, I'm new to the forum and i changed the oil on my '87 FC about a month ago and I've noticed that my engine i'snt burning any or only a little oil. Is there something wrong with my OMP? i also run some premix before i put gas to be on the safe side also.

Nothing to worry about. If this is a street car with catalytic converters, the premix will cause them to prematurly fail.

There's really no need to run premix if you have a functional metering oil pump.

There are test procedures in the FSM and Haynes manual you can use to verify that the metering oil pump is working. Probably a good idea to check.
