Just got a 93 FD need all the help I can get

Just got a 93 rx7 and need help and any advice you can throw at me. Car only has a pulley kit, 3" down pipe, 2.75 midpipe with a straight through megnaflow muffler in the middle (no cat), and apexi cat back. Car is fast, full throttle in 2nd gear (so 40-50mph) the car spin the rear tires from 5k rpm to redline and its pretty scary.

I know it runs rich so thats one thing I need to figure out. Any reason why that might be with a stock ecu?? Anything that comes to mind throw it out please

Mods soon to be done (bought the stuff just waiting for it to come in):

- boost gauge
- water temp gauge
- wideband
- got 2.5" universal aluminum piping (ill do a how-to for everyone)
- planing on doing a MONSTER 10"x9"x4.5" core water to air intercooler (ill do a how-to for everyone)
- boost controller 4 upping the boost to 12-13psi on the stock twins
- adjustable fuel pressure regulator

ANY IMPORTANT MODS I'VE MISSED BESIDES THE ECU?

Thanks everyone Sin

Question 93 fd gauge reads HIGH OIL PRESSURE?? WHY???

I just got a 93 FD and for the first few days the oil pressure gauge (original cluster gauge) was working fine, oil pressure high on cold starts then comes down, and it goes up under throttle. Now a few days it started acting up, the gauge always reads betwee 100-120psi which is way at the top of the gauge. Never comes down below 100psi.

Is this normal for a FD? Could it be bad for the engine having too much oil pressure? Could it be that my gauge is f'd up??

The sender is probably broken or the wire has worn through and is brushing the chassis.

Right below the oil filter. Big cylinder with a wire in the middle.

More likely to be running lean with a stock ECU mate - straight through midpipe instead of a cat the boost will be spiking and you are at serious risk of killing your engine...

Well yes you'll want an ECU. You may have a reflashed stock ECU now, which is ok but I would get something fully programmable. If your ECU is truly stock would install the boost controller now and turn the boost down to 9-10psi until you get the ECU installed and tuned.

Maintenance? Check the coolant hoses, FPD, fuel filter. Change all fluids.
