Thumbs up just an easy dumb helpful hint with horns.

Now i know rx7s are notorious for having horn issues and why should mine be any different. my 88 turbo 2 when i bought it the horns did not work but luckily for me is they were unplugged. i plugged them in and nothing happened so i feared for the worst. Bad horn relay, but i took a little easier approach to seeing if the horn relay was bad or not. instead of locating the horn relay and ripping it out and testing it. all i did was take the the power cables to the horns and had my electrical friend test the connections. with the horn being pressed down and i had power so that means that everything from the steering wheel button to the ends of the connectors where working. so why are my horns not working? hm got power so what else is missing? Ahhh GROUND, my 88 does not use a wired ground (not sure if any other years are different or not) the only ground they have is a body ground, so i sanded the brackets all down and bolted them to the car and they work perfect now . so just a little helpful hint that im sure everyone knows but just in case CHECK YOUR GROUND!! even if they are all bolted up and everything. unbolt them and sand them sand the connector tabs and the backs of the horns because that's what makes the ground when connected to the brackets. and try it out. also another helpful hint instead of wasting time pulling out the relay and everything just check the power at the connectors that connect to the horns (not 100% on how you do that though, like i said my friends the electrical guy but if anyone has questions i have no problem getting a step by step method from him if you guys need a step by step, also im sure theirs plenty of electrical guys on this site) i hope this helped out a little any questions please don't hesitate to ask
