Miata probably makes the most sense, but the answer is whatever you want it to be provided you have the budget and/or fabrication skills or budget and can find someone with the skill and willingness to do it for you.
like your RPM-thread, this is a case of wisdom ... would it be for a perceived improvement in handling or would it be just because it's something you can point to talk about? you can set your FB up to handle on just about any level, depending on how far you want to go with it, all while keeping the solid, live axle rear.
just an aside and an opinion ... i've seen maybe 2 done over the years (i think one of them used parts from a Gen II Rx-7) and it doesn't look like a worthwhile mod to me. i'm willing to bet there came a time when their owners regretted doing it.
