Hey i'm Colin. I am 15 and just got a 1990 GXL as my first car. I have been looking for some performance part that I could have fun installing and maybe learn a little bit in the process so since I don't know much about cars. To fit this I had bought a Weapon-R Secret Weapon Intake for my car, but after reading some threads (https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...+weapon+intake and some others) and knowing the last thing I want to be called is a ricer I am thinking about returning it. I was looking at the HKS one instead because I knew that was a good brand, but I didn't know if it would suck in really hot air or not because it looks like it would be pretty close to the middle of the engine compartment.

Does anyone have any reccomendations for some relatively simple upgrades I could make?
