intro to me...
hi guys, my name is tyler, not that it matters lol, but, im new to the rotary game, im used to hondas mostly and for the past few years the MKIII supra has really taken me, and recently i had an amazing opportunity for an 87 turbo II with only 60k original miles on it, so naturally as a fan of older turbo cars i couldnt pass it up, even tho i have no clue what the hell im doing lol, my only problem is the car is running too rich, and i think it may have a torn up apex seal, and i cant find anywhere to get them but mazda, i havent called yet but im sure theyll sell me some for an arm and a leg, anyway
does anyone have any idea of where i can get some replacement apex seals?

Why do you suspect it has a torn up apex seal? Because all of your honda buddies think its an apex seal?
Not meaning to sound like an ***, but everything your honda guys say about rotaries is probably plain wrong, misguided, or misinformed.
List out the problems and symptoms with the car one by one and we can take care of them.

Buying an apex seal is easy. Go to Mazda and buy one. Or rather, 6.
Putting it in requires complete engine dis-assembly.
There is no reason to assume that because the car is running rich, it has lost a seal. Contrary to what most people will tell you, the apex seals don't fail every 10 seconds and cause every problem with these cars. Most of the problems discussed here are not related to the engine block and instead related to associated hardware such as the EFI system.
