injector impedence swap
what color wires do you run a resistor in line with for swapping to a low impedence injector on an 87 s4 harness that was high impedence. there is green and black with a yellow stripe. i was thinking the green assuming that the black is a ground. you would want to resist power not ground correct?

The Resistor pack on the Passenger side Strut tower, below the air box is what gives the injectors some resistance (aboout 4-6 ohms).
If you take that resistor pack and Bypass it,you can Use HI impedance injectors,With an ECU that SEES Hi impedance Readings for it's injectors.
..Look Up: resistor Pack .I got 10 pages hitting that on Search.

all of the green wires go to the injectors as well as the black/yellow wires that also go to the injector. my question is which is ground and power. i would beleive that the black is the ground and the green is power but in this case the computer has to pulse the ground so i would think it has to come from the computer. so that would mean the green is ground and the black is power. on the cars with resistor pack the resistor pack the resistor is put in line with the black/yellow wire so i think im just going to go with that.
