Identifying some things in my engine bay. [FC][13b]

I have some items in my engine bay that i could use help identifying.

We believe the item in red is the positive pressure line for a 6 port intake actuator valve. It also kinda looks like an o2 sensor or something with the wires cut off?
The item in green is a hose with i think a spark plug jammed in there and then hose clamped. What is that hose for? Should it be plugged?

In these pictures we have 5 relays or something all bolted to the front right behind the bumper. Can anyone tell me what these are for individually? The one farthest right had a wire spliced into it, you can see the black wire and blue connector, but that went no where so we removed it.

These two things were both bolted near the passenger side strut tower. The first one was disconnected, we googled the part number and found out its a fuel injector resistor. Is this important? Its been disconnected and the car runs.

Second thing looked broken so we googled that too. I guess its a variable resistor? Is this something that should be adjusted?

From: Smiths Falls.(near Ottawa!.Mapquest IT!)
Circled green:attaches to a steel pipe that goes from the engine to the catalytic converter..Known as the split air pipe.
Circled red: O2 sensor,it's fudged, needs to have a wire hooked from it to the harness. The wire should have braided shielding for easy identification.
The relays are for various things like the Hi/Lo beams,etc..(check out Foxed.ca for Manuals)
The silver box thing with the big six pin connector is the Injector resistor pack with used in conjunction with LO impedance injectors boost the Resistance of the injectors to HI as the ECU looks for HI impedance Injector readings.
Mazda used the Resistor pack and LO until I believe 1987 and a half....Then went to a harness that excludes the resistor pack and used HI impedance injectors.Depending on what you got now it may not need it.Something to check out.
Last pic is the Variable resistor that Mazda SET to factory specs when it was installed. Some guys fart with it,some don't..(it sets lean and rich at idle.)
