Unhappy i overfilled my engine oil

can anyone please help me with this problem , as im a new rx owner which is not very clued up !

today i topped up the oil in my rx, started her up and took her for a quick 2min drive to get the oil moving , as i pulled back into the drive to my disbelief ,within about ten second , vast amounts of blue smoke erupted from the tail pipe and also then noticed that there was smoke coming from the engine bay , i cut the engine the moment i saw the smoke, and quickly popped the hood , i quickly notice that oil was dripping from a small valve on the top turbo, it wasn't pissing out , but just a drop or two every 20 seconds .

so what i need to know is if anyone can tell me if , overfilling the oil could have damaged the engine , or will it be o.k once the oil has been drained back within proper levels.

you should be fine once you drain the oil to proper levels. idle the car for a bit then drive it easy for about 15 minutes.

hopefully the oil you're seeing is just residual from the turbine seal due to the drain being blocked.

The Fumoto F-106 oil drain valve is your friend.
