Hey guys, so heres the lo-down. Last week i picked up an 85' Teal GSL-SE with 112,000 miles off an older guy who had let it live in his backyard for some 6 years. So i towed it back home and began to work. I drained the gas tank, flushed the coolant, changed the plugs and wires to NGK's, the dizzy cap and platic piece inside (stupidity forces me to forget the name of it right now), changed the oil, installed a new starter and installed a new used fuel pump. (After checking that the original pump was bad. The primary problem is that i still cant get the thing started. Its not getting fuel after i put in the new fuel pump. Fuek is getting through the lines but not into the engine.It did backfire off of starter fluid a few times out the intake manifold. But even when pumping gas into the engine with a hand pump it will not fire. The few problems i think are could be the timing is off, bad injectors, or a clogged cat? Would pull starting it in gear possibly help? The engine just cranks and cranks without firing. And also i am not a mechanic so im still learning everything as i go.

Yes i have good spark in the leading and trailing ignition. And i had a new battery hooked up as well. Thought i mentioned it but guess i forgot.
