Talking I am thinking of using Electric fans for my cooling is this a good idea?

I have a large electric fan that I want to put on my new build for my FC. Is this a good idea or should I stick with the stock fan set up. Thx for your help

ya i put one on my 83 fb that i bought from black dragon with a heat sensor and it worked great i am now thinking of putting one on my 85 gsl-se because of long idle it tends too get close to the red on the gauge. i would for sure do it.
