Exclamation i am not new to the site..

ive been here for a year, and have never had to post.. so my post count sucks..

anyway....

i need to know what the long connector by the blower motor is for... when i have it plugged in, and i try to turn my turn signals on, my hazards go, doesn't matter which way i want them to blink... unplugged, the turn signals work just fine, however, with this unplugged, i have no radio... i need to know what else that connector controls, so that i can figure out where i have the short to power from (I removed the dash yesterday and have it 90% back in now, however i have left the glove box out so that i can get to this connector...

any help is appreciated.

It would also help to state which page of the wiring diagram he is using, and the designation of the connector he is talking about.

Good luck with the diagnosis. Seems to be a lot of helpful info on here--the search feature seems to work well.

i do not have a wiring diagram, as it is hard to find one when i don't know what the connector controls... -_-

the connector is the longer one above the blower motor (slightly to the left)

considering that this is the new member section, i will go ahead and welcome you anyway. a lot of people here willing to help you out, but ...

... that said, the facetiousness is not necessary. not only is it a way to have your question go unanswered (and rightfully so), but also if you're going to use it as a tool you'd better make damn sure you have it down. in this case ... your snide remark about your username still falls short because Rx-7 FC33 still spans 2 slightly different cars. two different cars = two different wiring harnesses.

if you're not going to go through the effort of finding a wiring diagram - and yes, they are out there for downloading - then perhaps you could take the time to post a bloody photo of the connector you need help with in the context of its surroundings.

you'll probably get as much out of this board as you care to put in, so in the end it's your choice. good luck with it.
