I'm trying to remove the ignitor box on my rx7. It's the little brownish looking box about the size of a small match box. it has "Main power reactor" wrote on it. I can't get the wires loose and off.

also, if i want to go to like autozone or advance to try to find another, what else is this part called, in a name they might understand,like another word for it

i have a sneaking suspicion that you're referring to the fusible links. does this brown box have three looped wires coming out of it? is it attached to the driver's strut tower perchance?

for the record, the ignitors are actually attached to the distributor itself. they are black.
