How do I remove the rear bumper?
I love this section cuz it allows me to post stupid stuff like this.
Obviously I can go out to the car and start trying and seeing where it's still held on but before I go out there i'd like to know how many places the bumper is held on with and what to expect so I don't damage the bumper while removing if there's any trick clips and stuff.
Any help is appreciated and YES i did search!!

Your profile says you have a 2000 Honda Prelude SH, and since you didn't mention what car you are talking about in the post, one can only assume you are asking about the Honda. It's best to consult a Honda forum as every manufacturer uses a different method to attach body pieces.
Heh I just did this a couple weeks ago.
I have a 93 RHD car but the process should be the same.
Pop the hatch, pull the carpet back, remove all the interior plastics. This is easier said than done. Mine is non bose but I had to remove everything from the rear strut back to get all the plastic pieces out. You might be able to do it with them in, but it'll be a lot more annoying and those plastic pieces can cut you good
After that unscrew the tail light mounting brackets and remove them. The taillights move to the side, then out. So to remove the left one you slide it over to the left, then pull it out. Right one slide right then pull out. Remove the middle light section.
Under that there are some torx type screws you have to remove. On the left and right hand side there are 2 screw/bolt things that you have to reach down inside the fender/bumper well for. On one side you will probably have to move a few other things to see them.
There are also 2 bolts/screws (one one each side) that are best accessed under the car. These are probably rusted all to hell and will probably **** you off pretty good
Once you get done wrestling with that, you can just pull the fender back and then down over the license plate, disconnect the lights in the bumper and you're done.
Install is the reverse of removal ( I always wanted to say that )
That should get you through 90% of it!
