how to add turbo to 2nd gen

i Have found all kinds of 2nd gen rx7 all accross the country, but most of them are not tII how hard would it be to add the turbo, and cooler, and whatever else is needed? I just cant seem to find a deal on a TII in decent shape, so I thought I would upgrade one.

2nd gen FAQ: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...55#post5131155

Can I swap a Turbo engine/Jspec engine/13BT/etc into my Non Turbo?
Yes, check these links:

How do I add a turbo to my NA 13B?
What Turbo kits can I add onto my non turbo RX-7?

There are no longer kits formally made at the time of this post, however there are companies from time to time that do make available non turbo to Turbo Kits. Because most of these companies stop building the kits, or go out of business in short time, it is impossible to keep active links for them.

Most people that turbo a non turbo make their own kits:
Using the stock TII turbo, exhaust manifold with spacer, NA intakes and NA ECU:

hell no that wont work maybe the intercooler and piping from that kit but thats about it. you need to buy turbo2 manifolds and port match them to the block and probably should build the n/a engine to handle the power of the turbo. turbo2 flywheel, clutch, starter, injector, afm, ecu, blow off, wideband, lsd, transmission, driveshaft should all be turbo2 but the rear swap is optional but you should definitely get it done at some point. basically its easier to buy the turbo2 drivetrain for whatever series s4 or s5 and swap it into the n/a or buy a turbo2

That's not a kit, that's just a bunch of made in China crap thrown together. The turbo is too small and will likely fail within a thousand miles. Some parts will be usable like the intercooler piping and some of the fittings. The intercooler might even be junky with no internal turbulators or finning and there's no way to know without buying it.

So long story short, stay away from it.

There are no turbo kits for the 2nd gen NA RX-7 because there was a turbo model available from the factory. If you want to turbocharge it, you will need to fab it up yourself as covered in the FAQ. A standard TII swap is far easier.
