Holley/rb carb intake help
Having issues on the low end no real power until around 3500-4000 rpm, the 13b was rebuild about 2 months back, pretty large extended streetport done along with upgraded apex seals and the rest of the goods. Only reason I'm even using the holley / rb setup is it came with the car, someone removed all the fi stuff. So is there a way to tune it to get a bit better of the line acceleration or should I just start putting together a fi system for it. Mine other 88 vert was roughly the same building but had a upgraded fi system, new to the carb on a rotary and not sure which was to go

Which RB setup did you end up with? They have different tuned carb setups depending on how your engine is modded. I know I have the RB setup on my FB 12A Stock port. It idles well and does great WOT, but cruising speeds I have a surge. Does yours run rich or are you on the slightly lean side? Does it stumble when WOT from lower RPM?

Holley 650/rb intake setup for streetport on a 13b, its a streetport although a rather one, only stumbles if launching car, at wot, half throttle it stumbles, slightly rich at a idle but decent fuel trim through the range, if you take off like you would normally leaving red light no issues, only under hard launch, it will stumble then a half second later recover and start moving but nothing impressiveuntil at least around 3500 rpm, getting ready to check jet extenders in the carb to combat hard right hand turn under acceleration fuel loss, talked with racing beat tech on the issues and was told its the nature of them with a carb, which sucks

Ok, so the stuff I have checked adjusted and tweaked:
Holley HO electric fuel pump, regulator added, set my fuel bowl levels, and adjusted timing.
I will be honest, timing cured 90% of my issues. A lot of trial and error test driving to get it just right. Are you using the vacuum advance?
