high pressure fuel pump location
noob here, looking for the high pressure fuel pump location, from the yellow workshop manual, it looks like it should be around the strut tower/brake fluid resevoir, but, taking a look there, it doesn't seem to be the case. in fact, there doesn't seem to be anything there at all...
Is the TII layout completely different from the NA?

Thanks for the welcome, diabolical!
Is there only one fuel pump? I was under the impression that there tended to be two, a 'low' pressure pump near the tank to pull fuel to the engine, and then another high pressure pump to feed the injectors.
Then again, my assumptions are based on rather dusty, cobwebby random piston engine hearsay and may be slightly flawed... maybe it's for dfi? ah well.
I was going to get to the low pressure pump (too?) eventually, so thanks for that info, the fact that I don't have to drop the tank (the assumption that led to me hunting for the hp pump) like I was expecting is a relief. Thanks!

One main pump in the tank with a fuel "sock" to filter out tank crud, etc.
Another Cola Can size filter( rough size,a little smaller actually) on the driver's side frame rail, basically under your feet when you sit in the car as a driver.
