Hi!

I am working on this Mazda 616. I've got some questions on some pretty rudimentary things if anyone can bestow some knowledge.
This carb has caused some problems in the past and I am wanting to swap it out for something like a weber. I can't seem to find any weber conversion kits compatible with a 71' 616. What stats am I looking to match with a conversion kit?? or any conversion at all?

welcome to the board.

this is quite a coincidence, there's another member with one in your state (don't know if you guys are anywhere near each other though).

anyway, you may want to try looking for DGEV kits for a B1600 truck. they shoudl adapt to your stock manifold and then you can go about finding whatever your engine likes in terms of jetting and such.

also, keep an eye out for threads with the user: Harder616, he's going through a similar ordeal right now, and maybe someone might post something useful to you.
