WV Hey guys!

Whats up rx7club!figured I would kill 2 birds with one stone here on this section of the forum! My names Jim and I am from Charleston,WV..ima Nissan 350Z owner..and soon to be 93 FD owner.

My boss and me are making out a deal...we bought a RX7 for our shop 2 years ago in new york on a 93 FD and a installer of mine blew it up 3 weeks later!!its been setting at another garage since then tore apart!I was telling her how I was dieing for a project car she threw me a pretty awesome offer out on her 7.

the car was suppose to have a built bridgeport motor..haha no it didnt....it was running a Greddy T88H turbo kit with a Haltech engine management system. The wastegate spring bent and spike boosted at 31psi and bye bye 13b!...car on race gas did 535whp...base tune 93 octane did 386whp..

Sooo im new to the rotary department....I posted where I live who would be the right guys to steer me to that would work me out a deal on a new motor...

Or would it be best to sell all the engine managment..and the turbo set up..
and do a Ls1/Ls2 swap??

thanks alot!..pics of my Z below!

Welcome to the club, nice car. An Ls1 or Ls2 setup would be a heck of a lot more reliable. Wouldn't have to worry about a boost spike blowing the motor.
