My 88 rx7 only starts once and then you can run it but as soon as you shut it off it wont start again. I tried the fuse pull trick but it dident work. THe throttle positioning sensor piece is missing but the car still runs, I dont know if this piece is the the problem or if there is some other issue, I know the car floods.

Any help would be nice

 

This happened to my 7 a while back, it turned out that my alternator wasn't charging properly and it needed to be replaced. Could that be the problem?

 

Common hot start issue. Search "flooding" in the 2nd gen section. Causes can include dirty fuel injectors, low compression and Mazda's overly rich start map.

The TPS is not used for startup, but you should get one anyhow.
