help! lost alternator spacer
So as the title states. Any substitutions? I've been looking at local yards but no luck. Do any of you guys have an extra one or is there a part number for it?
I lost it in the engine bay and couldn't find it for the life of me, I feel pretty stupid haha

It will be on the keg, where the lower manifold and keg meet up..
If you accidentally dropped one, that is usually where it ends up!..all mine do!

The front ear hits the waterpump housing so it aligns the alternator.
That Spacer gets squished with a compression type sleeve in the alternator casing to tighten up the mounting.
So,if you lose the spacer you can use anything similar in thickness to get you by.

Thanks for your guys input. I was just afraid that if I used spacers the alternator just wouldn't line up with the belts perfectly. But I will definitely check there misterstyx

Spacer
You can measure the space and you might be able to find one at your local ace hardware or similar old time hardware store. I believe they should have something a little better than a bunch of washers, but that will work if you can't find anything.
